To use the patch, you must then rename (do NOT delete) the original executable that was installed with The Sims, then copy the no-cd patch executable file into your Sims program files directory in the same location as the old .exe file. WebI tried different things and in the end it almost worked but told me that the makin’ magic expansion pack needs an update but when I tried it just lead me to uninstalling it, so in the end I did uninstall it and now when I try to reinstall it/play the game it tells me I don’t have the original sims installed.
