I heard rumors the coated bearings were being discontinued, but never followed up on it. I had them in my earlier build, same engine, they were in great shape at the refresh.

BUT bearings differ in shell thickness from manufacturer to manufacturer, so do NOT assume going from a King at .0015 to a clevite 590HX will result in .0025.
