Anything that gets past the rings should go through the crankcase and back into the air filter box. That much that fast may not be rings but a leak somewhere. WebJan 12, 2016 · I have 2012 800 xp and it smell burning oil. It take 1/4 of oil on the dip stick avery 2 or 3 gas tank. I can see some in front of the cover valve around the exsase pipe.
